Hey guys! There’s quite a few new peeps on here and it’s been a little bit since I introduced myself on here, so I figured it’d be a good time to do that 😊
My name is Jessica and I started Ordinary Refinement in the summer of 2022 and it’s been so fun watching it grow. I’ve always had a passion for thinking outside of the box when it comes to crafts and creating new projects. Once I come up with a concept, I enjoy putting my own style and aesthetic into my craft.
My wonderful husband and I married in 2020 and we have 2 precious boys. Having my sons really encouraged me to start my own business. I am so thankful that I’m able to stay home with my babies and do something I genuinely enjoy and have a passion for.
I love making a variety of different products from journals, aged vases, bookmarks, etc. but my favorite projects to create are my miniature dioramas. All of my dioramas are handmade, even the shadow boxes are hand crafted by my mom. I don’t use a 3D printer for my miniatures, I just simply enjoy sculpting and creating my own miniatures to fit perfectly in the space I envision.
I love sharing my creative journey and the items I’ve been and continue to work on, in hopes that you all can enjoy them as well 🌿

I get to do something I once turned to for healing and now help other women experience that same feeling of becoming stronger and showing up for themselves; mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Over time, fitness has become so much more than just working out. It has taught me discipline when I didn’t have it, helped me feel stronger and more capable in my body, and taught me that progress takes time and consistency. It’s taught me how important it is to become someone I can rely on. It has shown me that fitness isn’t just about changing how you look, but changing how you show up for yourself and how you see yourself.

When I started this journey almost four years ago, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life or how much it would shape me into the person I am today. I'm still learning every day. I’ve realized that this isn’t a destination or something you ever truly “finish”, it’s a lifelong journey of growing and learning. Everyday brings its own obstacles and that's the beauty of it. And honestly, I wouldn’t want to be on any other road.

Now, I get to help other women discover just how powerful movement can be. 🤍
