這次實習有機會到 Boston University 參訪男子冰球隊的肌力與體能訓練。

負責訓練的是 Ken Whittier，
現任 BU Associate Head Strength & Conditioning Coach，同時負責男子與女子冰球隊的肌力與體能訓練。

現場看大學運動員訓練，跟單純看一份課表真的完全不一樣。

從訓練週期、專項肌力、SAQ，到球員之間的正向競爭、訓練自主性，以及整個 weight room 的訓練節奏，

很多細節，都是單看課表看不到的。

很難得的一次學習經驗，也讓我對運動員的肌力與體能訓練有更多新的想法。

Part 1: Tryouts

This is where the 2026 Spring Football season started.

Before the games, before the lights, before the playoffs, there was a group of athletes willing to show up, compete, learn, and earn their place.

Tryouts set the tone for everything that came after. Effort, discipline, accountability, and belief.

This was the beginning of the foundation.

Special shoutout to Joe Healy, owner of Evolution Performance Center, Kenny Whittier, owner of Whittier Performance, and Ken Tran, PT/DPT, for helping us create the right environment for our athletes to compete, develop, and grow.

Wow…😳I couldn’t get everything packed into one video it was such a full weekend at Mike Boyle’s Strength & Conditioning in Woburn, MA❗️

Did I forget to mention there were awesome vendors there like @perform_better @ancoretraining @nutre_meals @oofos (who handed out the most comfiest slides ever) and more 🥹

Don’t ask me why I haven’t been back since 2017 but will definitely be attending again next year. (See you there!!)

Best MBSC seminar yet i literally can’t wait for many more to come! I met so many new coaches at MBSC and people from around the world this year! I am extremely grateful for the connections I’ve made in the last 2 days and to be apart of this growing diverse community that screams faith, family, friends and work that serves and that I definitely can’t get enough of!🧱💥💯

MBSC Spring Seminar 2026!

This was my third year in a row attending & every year has been amazing. I have learned so much from all of the coaches I have seen.

From program design, to better cueing on the hip hinge, to why we select exercises we do & how to be a better coach, all of the topics have resonated with me in so many ways.

It was great to spend a weekend with like- minded people who have the same passion & drive that I do. It was also great to see coaches I look up to & connect with them on a personal level.
I can't wait until Spring Seminar 2027!
