GAZE SUMMER MEMORIES Pt. 1 ☀️

Summer is over, but we are still basking in the glorious times we had this season, starting with a way overdue recap of our showcase @whole.festival .

Everything seemed to be crumbling in front of our faces, when a storm warning stopped the entire festival the moment we were set to start. Fortunately, we only had to shelter for 30 minutes, and the vibes return to the beach stage soon enough 🏝️

Thanks to @whole.festival for having us, the entire crew and volunteers for such a swift collab and communication and for bringing all these cuties from all corners of the 🌎. Thanks to @n.v.tv @ambivalentina @_paulwinkler @luca.bonamore for bringing the vibe to the stage, all our friends (old and new) and all those who shared that last sunset with us! ❤️

I LOVE BEING A NOOB AT TECH <3<3

the tech industry is one of the most toxic fields of science right now. men did that.
but technology is so beautiful when it is in the hands of women & minorities. @softer.global made that clear at the Softer Digital Futures conference this weekend.

i feel so inspired, empowered & i learned so much from so many great people.

i am fucking proud to be a woman, when this is what women do with their knowlegde.
men could never. honestly ;-*

Joining us this weekend for Softer Digital Futures is the incredible @who.i.why 🩷

Mo Wunderwald (they/them) is a musician and media artist based in Vienna, Austria. Their practice is centred on sound and extends into sound art, digital animation, performance and installation, often combining these into immersive and hybrid formats.

Mo is writing and performing music with the bands Laikka and Itchi and is part of Vienna’s queer experimental club culture as a DJ. Their recent art work includes animated short films and sound art in physical and digital spaces. Their animated short “no horse zone” has been awarded Best Sound at the Best Austrian Animation Festival in 2024.

With Laikka they have received nominations at the Amadeus Music Awards and the Shape+ program and wrote a commissioned piece for Ö1’s Musikprotokoll in 2025.

In this presentation, hybrid worlds emerge at the intersection of nature, mythology, and technology—worlds where familiar orders are destabilized.
Amidst ice flowers, displaced wolves, artificially singing birds, luminous landscapes, cyborgs, dragons, and digital visions, a cosmos takes shape in which the archaic and the post-digital coexist as a matter of course. The artists craft speculative narratives concerning transformation, memory, technology, and humanity’s relationship with its environment. What emerges is neither a vision of the future nor a return to nature, but a multi-layered in-between realm in which nature, mythology, and technology have become inseparably intertwined.
