Week 12 | Race Week

The work is done.

Twelve weeks ago, you committed to a goal. Since then you’ve put in the miles, tackled the hills, completed long trail runs, adjusted your schedule, and stayed consistent through the ups and downs of training.

This week is about staying sharp, staying healthy, and arriving at the starting line ready to enjoy the experience. Keep your runs easy, trust your training, prioritize rest, hydration, and nutrition, and resist the urge to squeeze in extra miles.

On Saturday, June 13, it’s time to celebrate the work you’ve put in and take on the historic Civil War Defenses of Washington Trail.

Whether you’re running your first 10K, your first half marathon, or chasing a new goal, we’re excited to see you at the start line.

See you on race day.

What’s more fun than running 15-20 miles of loops with your friends? 🤷🏾‍♂️

Hains Point Run Fest, part ii was a success. We’ll see ya next time.

Not pictured, @j3nnif3r_xo. She did ALL the loops!

Great work to everyone who made a visit to the peninsula today!

Somebody got to August, because you are not who you were last week. You’ve definitely changed… this humidity? And for what? 😒

We are extremely grateful for everyone who joined us for our 5th Annual Half Marathon & 10K this weekend. And we want to extend a special expression of gratitude to our local media networks @fox5dc and @whurfm for highlighting and bringing awareness to our event.
