The people around you matter. Good community can challenge you to train harder, become more disciplined, build better habits, take care of your body, pursue your goals, and most importantly, draw closer to God.

Sometimes growth happens simply because you’re surrounded by people who refuse to settle for mediocrity. Their discipline challenges yours. Their faith strengthens yours. Their consistency reminds you to keep showing up.

Be intentional about your circle. Surround yourself with people whose lives inspire you to become stronger—physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Living 2 years in LA I learned more about myself than I did in the last 26 years of my life. The ups and downs, the doubts, the high hopes, all lead me to where I am today and I’m so blessed I experienced it. Did I get what I wanted out of it for my goals, no. But did I meet amazing people and meet an amazing team that believes in me just as much as I do, yes. I said it wasn’t worth it, but now writing this, it was all worth it.

Now that I’m leaving my mindset is stronger than ever. Looking back I put myself through so much 💩 but the fact that I’m not giving up is why I’m going to make it. The “I WILL” mentality is still in full effect and it’s stronger than ever. I’m excited for my future and I’m excited for you all to see what’s to come. I wanna give a huge shoutout to the people who stuck by my side and helped me through this, dad, mom, Emig, Jwall, Eli, and Fanny. You mean the world to me. I beat myself up and you all were always there for me no matter what, thank you. I put to much pressure on myself to make it happen within 2 years but this industry isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Thank god I can run because the run just started haha. And to my followers, thank you for the patience you have presented towards me. I know I haven’t posted in a while but it had its reasons♥️. I love you, stay Dylulu, and I’ll see y’all in the other side💫

There’s a gap in our education.

Farm Strong is a concept based on biology and its vastly missing in our training & programming.

Farm Strong doesn’t replace what’s established, it is complimenting it.

It removes the dogmatic discussion which says this VS that ➡️ and replaces it with this AND that.

Movement demands in life and sports are dynamic, unpredictable, chaotic and full-body.

There’s a body-wide, omnidirectional requirements, tissue tolerance and a high skills mastery.

All body systems fire together to make us safe, efficient, and effective so we can do what we love, all day every day and for as long as we are alive.

How to not get injured is something EVERYONE regardless of a training camp trying to figure out.

Because of the lifestyle disrupters, injuries will most likely always come, but we can minimise them with the right training approach.

Here’s an analogy I like to use.

COACHES!
Besides this exercise being awesome for whole-body resiliency, I want to make 3 important points for us.

1. Everyone needs to start somewhere but the whole idea of beginner, intermediate, and advanced is good in the gym. Life doesn’t care about levels. Movement in life is dynamic, unpredictable, and multi-planar.

2. Strength isn’t just Hypertrophy or isolated muscle parts focus. In fact, not even close. Agile strength, Dead strength or Odd Position strength are highly involved in life and they are trained differently with a different outcome.

The strength comes from moving loads through:
→ multiple planes of motion
→ asymmetrical loading patterns
→ varied speeds and angles
→
whole-body force production.

3. Everyone wants to feel athletic. People just don’t know how to get there and so they are believing in us.

Have programming systems, frameworks, and models to address these three (and many more) points.

It’s all about programming and coaching. It’s a privileged job that should be treated with respect and passion.

ViPR, and the ViPR PRO, were founded on the observation that farm kids exhibited a greater degree of functional strength than their gym counterparts.

Functional strength refers to the ability to be strong as an integrated body, in symmetrical and asymmetrical positions.

Odd Position,full body, Strength and stability does not only help athletes, but all of us.

Whether trying to reduce the risk of falls for the older population, to engaging in activities of daily living, to elite sport, our bodies need omni-directional strength, stability and motion.

Integrating the body, and stressing it with external mass (i.e ViPR PRO) introduces greater ‘load paths’ to the body.

These load paths are mechanical stress, which then convert into the cellular activity of remodelling.

If the remodelling occurs under conditions of different loads, with different speeds, at different angles, the result is a more robust architecture in the tissues.

This was our first observation with farm kids, as well as the thought process behind the genesis of the ViPR PRO.

The ability to externally load the body with a free weight mass, to mimic the loading that one might expect on the farm.

Different loads, with different speeds, with different angles. This variability leads to increased adaptability within the body’s tissues (namely skin, fascia, bone, muscle).

Stimulating osteoblast and fibroblast activity this way increases the beneficial adaptations within the structure of tissue.

Scientifically, this is seen in the concepts of mechnotransduction. Anecdotally, this is observed when witnessing a farm kid wrestle a city kid.

In the Unloaded Multi-directional Training quadrant, we did Lizard Get Up - one of the most popular exercise.

Whether you are doing it or coaching it, you need to be aware of this little adjustment.
