Never dim your light or turn down your volume just to fit into a room that was built too small for you. ✨🙏🏻

Things don’t make sense when you trust in God—colors show up in the darkest times—promise.

Maybe you were used, ideas stolen or you just started something you never finished…

Keep praying, keeping going and don’t ever give up!

Now & Then—not only a favorite movie, but childhood. Growing up and finding myself out in the country all over again…20 years later. #nevergiveup

The tides have turned, the current’s shifted,
I’m swimming strong, I’ve finally Updrifted.
No more crooked ladders or a hollow climb,
I’m savoring the spirits and taking my time.
In the Trophy Room, where the glass is bright,
I’m pouring high-class bourbon through the night.
But don’t be fooled by the polish and glow,
There’s a deeper rhythm that I’ve come to know.
The flour is back on my hands today,
A baker reborn in the sweetest way.
With live music playing, I’ve found my beat,
Making a life that is soulful and sweet.
I’m seeking a man with a godly heart,
Who sees the soul as the finest part.
Not a “trophy” to keep on a dusty shelf,
But a woman, at last, finding herself.
