I’m halfway done with college!! Yippie!! 🥳🥳

I had an absolute blast this year and after a rocky start to the year, I am glad to say that I am thrilled with my how sophomore year went.

Some highlights:
I got into GWO
I was part of an amazing trumpet section 🎺
I was in Christmas in Christ Chapel 🎄⛪️
I went to Chicago 🏙️
I learned new games 🫘
I made new friends 🫂
I found a frog straw 🐸
My sticker game is on fire 🔥
I made 6 or 7 really good jokes 6️⃣7️⃣
I found more forever friends 💕

I truly would not have enjoyed my year as much as I did without the people around me, so for that I thank you all.

Seniors, I’ll miss you more than you’ll ever know, but I’ll keep the memories that I have close to my heart. Wow, that got sappy real quick. Sorry!

I had an absolute blast in Chicago. Not only did I perform like a boss, but I made some of the best memories with the best people.

Whether it was spending 7 hours at the Field Museum, staying up until 1 am playing the bean game, staying up until 3:30 am swimming, or just hanging out with pretty awesome people, every single part of this tour was amazing.

I'm so glad that I was able to make new friends and have a superb time with everybody (I didn't want to add awesome or amazing again so superb it is).

I fell in love even more with Chicago. I got to go to a jazz club which was phenomenal, I ended up at Billy Goat Tavern, of course I had to try an Italian beef sandwich dipped (not my new favorite, the bread was soggy), I learned about the bean game, I learned some deep dark secrets, and overall this trip healed my soul in ways that I didn't realize needed healing.

To everybody that made this tour happen, thank you and I cannot wait to do it again next year! ❤️

Hey, finally remembered my password! I had the pleasure of going to Chicago this week with some of the best friends and absolutely the best section of flutes I could have asked for. I am eternally grateful to be their section leader and proud of every one of them and love how good we are to each other. This tour has reminded me of the family that I have in the band and I cannot wait for what we have in store. I had a blast, and the best part is I know how much more we have to give. Ok, sappy speech over. Also, maybe I won’t wait as long to post next time

Still dreaming of the magic from Christmas in Christ Chapel earlier this month. 🕯️✨

So proud of Hudson, Anika, and Gracelyn for their stellar work as Herald Trumpets on O Come, All Ye Faithful, you made us proud!

It was also so special to have the “Uncs” back in the audience and hanging out with us afterward. We love seeing our graduated trumpet legends come back to support the section.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season! ❤️❄️
