🪞 HELLO TO DREAMY HAIR? 🤤🪞

The layers. The volume. The SEXY fringe. 😮‍💨✂️

Would you go for the sexy fringe? 👀✂️

Her balayage? Over a year old and still looking fabulous.
With just a few foils around the front to enhance the new sexy fringe a toning freshen up … soft layers and a lot more shape… finished with @elevenaustralia brush and my new fabulous @whose_wood hair dryer 💁🏼‍♀️✨

That’s the beauty of a well done balayage….little refresh and she’s ready for her encore.

Britney’s on @britneyspears 🎶 🎪…the blowdry brush is out…..Big hair. Sexy fringe. The full Nicholas James treatment. ✂️✨

From light to dark… it’s not as simple as just putting a darker colour on. 🤎✨

A colour correction like this is all about creating depth, richness and longevity. When hair has been lightened, it often needs a pre colour first before applying the target shade. Skipping this step can leave the colour looking flat, muddy or fading too quickly.

Using O&M CØR.color, I was able to carefully rebuild the hair with beautiful, glossy brunette tones while keeping the hair looking and feeling healthy.

One of my favourite things about transformations like this? The excitement isn’t just mine! 🤍 Everyone in the salon was stopping to watch the change unfold, cheering each stage on and getting just as excited as the final reveal. That’s one of the best parts of working in such a positive, creative salon… we all genuinely love seeing each other’s work.

Would you ever swap blonde for brunette? 👇

Good hair won’t solve all your problems … but it’s a pretty good place to start 🤍

YOU CAN BE AN INCREDIBLE HAIRDRESSER AND STILL STRUGGLE BACKSTAGE.

And that’s something we need to talk about.

Because being brilliant behind the chair doesn’t automatically prepare you for the demands of a fashion show.

It’s a completely different environment.

The pace.
The pressure.
The teamwork.
The expectations.

And sometimes, it’s the smallest things that make the biggest difference.

How you communicate.
How you prepare.
How you respond under pressure.
How you support the people around you.

These are skills that deserve to be taught, not simply expected.

And that’s something I feel incredibly passionate about.

We believe every stylist who wants to build a career in session hair deserves the opportunity to learn, develop and understand what it really takes to succeed.

Whether you’re trying to get your foot in the door or you’ve already started but feel unsure how to progress, you don’t have to figure everything out on your own.

Because talent might open the door.

But your skills, attitude and professionalism are what get you invited back.

If you’re ready to take your session career further but aren’t sure what your next step should be, we’d love to hear from you.

DM SESSION and let’s talk about where you are now and where you want to go.

WE’RE NOT HERE TO CREATE COPIES.

And we never will be.

Every stylist brings something different to the table.

Different strengths.
Different experiences.
Different ideas.
Different ways of thinking.

And that’s something we want to celebrate.

Backstage, it’s often about creating exactly the same look across multiple models, working together to deliver one creative vision.

But that doesn’t mean individuality disappears.

At Session Squad, we want to encourage stylists to recognise their own strengths while developing the technical skills, confidence and professionalism needed to work together as one team.

Because a great backstage team isn’t made up of people who are all the same.

It’s made up of individuals who understand how to bring their strengths together to achieve something extraordinary.

And that’s what we’re incredibly passionate about at Session Squad.

Restyle.

Sharp, textured pixie with a statement V-fringe.

Dark green that plays hide and seek.

Pulp Riot Slither is one of those shades that reads black until the light catches it, then you get that deep green-teal glint through the shine. Every time we can never get the colour in a photo.

The shape is the star here, a heavy blunt fringe cut into a V, tapered sides, and a piece left long at the temple, all finished with lived-in texture on top.
