Know Our Runner

NAME: Sanika More

NICK NAME: Sani

Why did you start running?
Since school I've been playing pentathlon events. Running long distance was never my cup of tea.
then seeing my dad run ultra marathons i got motivated and started running 5kms and now gradually stepping into long distance running.

How do you stay motivated when you don’t want to run?
to be honest I am not that consistent in running but seeing KDR posts daily and group runs really motivates me to go for runs.

What was your best running experience?
My first 21kms barefoot half marathon (PKDM 2019).
It was very special as it was my first half marathon. also my dad eagerly waiting for me at finish line was another special thing.

What was your longest run?
KDR RISE 2021 30kms run

What was your worst running experience?
No bad experience till date

What do you hope to achieve from running?
As my instagram bio says," life is better in running shoes" . I want my life to be better and fit till the end and hence fitness has to be a part of it.

At the beach, life is different. You're probably away from the chaos and not with your normal people surrounding you. You are probably with your friends, and the times passes not by hour to hour, but by mood to moment. Moments are slower and you cherish every bit of it. The enormous waves proceeds slowly and loses its pace to gently kiss the shoreline of the beach. We live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.

And you are always welcome to experience this with us!
We are leaving on the 18th of December with our second batch of Gokarna Beach Trek & Backpacking. So what are you waiting for grab your seats before we are sold out!
