A belated recap from @cannes_lions 2026.

It was a HOT week in the South of France—and my Airbnb didn’t have AC. 😳 Fun.

Beyond the heat, it was @whynowworld @greatbigstory ‘s first time on the ground there and great to be a part of the action. I had the chance to hear from some incredible speakers and pick up insights from industry leaders including Oprah, Sir Martin Sorrell, Stella Li (BYD), Marc Pritchard (P&G), Keke Palmer, Jay Shetty at Spotify Beach, Shelly Zalis and the amazing programming at @femalequotient Beach, and many others.

One of my favorite parts of the week was unexpectedly running into people I’ve worked with throughout my career in media and advertising. There really is nothing like Cannes for bringing the industry together.

That said, one thing stood out this year: the sheer scale of the tech company presence on the Croisette. The activations from Netflix, Amazon, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Meta, Pinterest, and others were massive, and the amount of money behind them was impossible to ignore. While they’re an important part of the festival, it also felt like there was less space for smaller and midsize creative agencies, publishers, and independent voices.

I’d love to see Cannes strike a better balance in the future. At its best, Cannes Lions is about celebrating bold creativity, breakthrough ideas, and campaigns that move culture forward—not just the biggest brands with the biggest budgets. #canneslions2026 #media #advertising #whynow #creatingcontentwithvalue

Mirror To Mine has been out in the world for just over a week! ⛏️

I’ve been overwhelmed by the response to this self-written, produced & released record. To read such thoughtful reviews, and hear how it’s connected with people has meant so much. It’s been a lot of very hard work but also one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done

these songs are fundamentally about exploring memory and past experience, willing to dig deep and face your reflection, in the hope of moving forward into a lighter space

thank you so much to everyone who’s bought the album, come to a show, shared their thoughts - feeling very grateful! 🖤
