Meet the young women turning skills into dreams.

Meet Shadia Juma, Mary Jackson, and Lilian, currently undertaking their field practical training in Simanjiro as they prepare to complete their studies in food production and hospitality.

But their dream goes beyond graduation. Together, they are already looking ahead — with plans to open their own food business and turn the skills they are gaining today into an opportunity for tomorrow.

From the classroom to the kitchen, from practical training to entrepreneurship — their journey is a beautiful reminder of what happens when young people are given the opportunity to learn, practice, dream and build.

Because sometimes, the impact of education is not just a certificate in hand — it is the confidence, skills and courage to create something of your own. ❤️

I was truly honored to serve as a table mentor at the Women in Business Professional Development Summit 2026, held this Saturday, March 21 at Baylor University Hosted by @wib.baylor , this year’s theme ✨Claim Your Space✨ was both powerful and inspiring 💜

We heard from keynote speaker Mary Moore Hamrick, CEO of Political Quotient Advisors, LLC, who encouraged us to choose joy, stay present, trust and thank God, and come to the table with an intentional and innovative mindset that sets us apart 🙌

The panel was equally impactful, featuring speakers like Nichole Muñoz, VP of Affiliates and Partnerships and Co-Founder of EZ-Bombs, and Dr. Hope Koch, Godfrey Sullivan Professor of Information Systems & Business Analytics at @bayloruniversity. Dr. Koch shared valuable insights on AI in the workplace 🤖 including key takeaways from @sxsw 2026 that left students thinking ahead about how to adapt and lead in a rapidly evolving world 🚀

What meant the most to me, though, was the time spent connecting with such talented young women—already networking, learning, and investing in their futures before even stepping into the professional world 💫 Their drive, curiosity, and commitment to growth were nothing short of inspiring.

It was a day I feel truly blessed to have been part of 🙏✨
