Special moments only happen like this once in awhile.

Today while enjoying our lunch date and celebration of my achievement of passing my AFAA CGFI exam, this happened!

Start today with you.

As we embark upon another school year, it’s all the more important that we mamas remember to take care of ourselves and pour into our own cup, so that we may pour into theirs… because you can’t pour from an empty one!

What’s one little thing you can do today to pour into your own cup first? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

And if this reminder is meeting you at just the right time, you’re not here by accident – follow along for more.

Starting July 1st, I’m doing something simple and I want you to do it with me!

I’m calling it 5 to Thrive.
5 habits. 5 minutes or less. Every day in July.

Nothing overwhelming, just simple, realistic habits that help make you feel good.

We’re focusing on:
🛏️ Making your bed
☀️ Vitamin D
👗 Getting ready
🏠 Tidying up a space
🤍 Self-care

That’s it. If you’re in a season where you’ve been focusing on everyone else, this is your sign to start focusing on you 🫶🏻

We start July 1st.
👉🏻 Comment “Thrive” if you’re joining so I can 🥳 you on
👉🏻 And share with a mom you love so she can join too

Making time for me bright and early before the day gets busy w a focus on deep core - that little trouble area that sneaks up during perimenopause.

@elevatemembership
Still into it.

✔️Simple.
✔️Quick.
✔️Effective.
✔️Low impact.

☑️ self - care first thing.

Shake shake shake 🫨

What healthy habits do you swear by?

Healthy habits for me, a 47 year old perimenopausal mama, include a protein shake-a-day!

@arbonne Simply1 protein contains 20g plant 🌱 protein + 36 vitamins & minerals.
Helps fill in the nutritional gaps.
Quick and easy to make - and - take.
Delicious and easily customizable to suit your taste!

I’m partial to this one but also curious … what type of protein shakes are you all loving and what do you love to add into it?

Extrinsic vs Intrinsic motivation.

When you think of your fitness and nutrition, what is it that really drives you???

Is it (extrinsic) …
✔️To obtain your desired swimsuit body?
✔️Tank top arms?
✔️That fine-ass-in-jeans goal?
✔️To lose the bingo arm jiggle?

That’s fine if it is (and let’s be real, it’s most likely part of it).
In our society, most of us care to some degree about how we look, and that’s more than okay!

BUT, at the end of the day, is that what will help you get and stay consistent? Most likely not. It’s only skin deep.

We need more!

We want (intrinsic)…
✔️Longevity of life.
✔️Quality of life.
✔️Physical & cognitive independence well into our Golden years.
✔️To love and hold our loved ones for as long as we can!

And let’s not forget the more immediate payouts like …
✔️Healthy stress management
& ✔️Perimenopause & Menopause support

I challenge you to take pause & really dig into asking yourself what your ‘intrinsic’ motivators are - your “why” - write them down, refer back to them often!

Grab hold of them and let them fuel your 🔥 to keep driving for those results - a stronger, happier, healthier YOU! 🙌🏼

Get yourself a gal - group who will bend & flex & be silly with you!

A bit about FIA…

This group. These women. I’m so thankful to have this community of amazing people to move and play and connect with!

FIA is so much more than workouts. For me it started out that way and quickly became something so much deeper and more meaningful.
Sure, we workout together, but even more so, we lift each other up. We rise together and encourage each other to be our best selves, and in turn show up for ourselves, our families, each other, and our communities in the ways we cherish.

I’m so thankful for the growth I’ve felt and seen within this group this year, and encourage those who are curious, to come see what we’re all about! It’s free. It’s for all ages (18+) & all fitness levels. It’s peer- led. It’s fun. It’s a way to pour into yourself & each other & feel your best together!

Come grow with us! @fiatemecula 2026!
