The vocals on this song stand out to me from the others on the album. They make me think of Helen Hill from the Violators. I can't help thinking of songs like "Summer Of '81", "Live Fast - Die Young", and "Gangland".

"There's blood on the streets and the smell is so sweet
'Cause another blue bastard has just gone down
See the boots swarming 'round his head
They're gonna see him dead

...

RI-OT RI-OT
RI-OT RI-OT RI-OT RI-OT RI-OT..."

Maybe that just illustrates my inability to really hear music.

The songs fucking good either way whether you're feeling my comparison or not.

And despite some getting bummed out by the bumps along the way I'm really proud of every part of this one, and sales are moving steadily. I've got about half of the total records left in my possession including what went to the band, to distros through trades and wholesale sales, and ones that I kept or gave as gifts. By far the best movement of anything I've done so far. Maybe I'll sell enough of these that I'll live to fight again another day.

Check it out and head over to my storenvy site to pick one up (link in BSR bio) or just get off your ass and go catch them live.

I'm typically shipping the next day, shipping is modest, and it can be combined for multiple items. To combine shipping across multiple orders you'll have to reach out to me.

Indy record stores and distros hit me up for wholesale pricing or trades.

So much happening all at once.

@wicked.issue.oi shirts are in and orders waiting on those will ship tomorrow.

Stay tuned as well for the BSR-012 announcement, the @floodarchive_ pre-order, and some updates on the other releases coming your way.

And be patient folks if you're trying to get in touch about other upcoming stuff don't worry, there's plenty of time. Once I get 5 min I'll be back to finalizing the comp audio. Unfortunately I'm giving an exam to 60 kids next week and grading will knock out another 10 hours of my time next Wed/Thur.
