“Here’s a sleeper track from a while back called “All I Know”. This is the only song l’ve ever recorded that features everyone in McCartney’s band (minus Paul McCartney and the Hot City Horns). That’s a Abe Laboriel Junior on drums and backing vocals, Rusty Anderson on that lovely pedal steel, and Wix Wickens on the tasty keyboards, joined by the incredible Scott Shriner (Weezer) on bass and backing vocals. Joe Zook and Marc DeSisto “

Santa Macca and his elves bring surprises from their shelves. 🎁

Music spirit all year round
Lighting smiles with that sound. 🎸

That magic won’t be found
beneath a tree, 🎄
It’s how the songs remind you
just how good the world can be. ❤️

Enjoy these festive greetings from your favorite santas!
🎀
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!
And happy Festivus too! 😂

November 21, 2025 at TD Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario.
Paul McCartney, a once-in-a-lifetime, bucket-list moment. 🎶✨👑
Reid and I finally checked off the very top of my concert bucket list: seeing Paul McCartney live. And somehow, getting to experience it together made it even more meaningful. I never imagined I’d get the chance to see a Beatle perform, let alone share that moment with my son, and Paul did not disappoint in any way.
From Beatles classics to Wings and solo material, the show was a masterclass in songwriting, storytelling, and pure joy. One of the most powerful moments of the night came when Paul performed “Mull of Kintyre” and invited the Paris Port Dover Pipe Band onstage. The sound of the pipes filling the arena was emotional and overwhelming in the best possible way, a truly unforgettable Canadian moment woven into a legendary catalog.
There was also a strange and beautiful coincidence that made the night even more special. In the same week, Reid and I each saw our favourite artists live, and both concerts ended with different songs that shared the same name: “The End.” A reminder that sometimes music lines things up in ways you never expect.
Behind the scenes, we had the pleasure of meeting Paul Boothroyd, Paul McCartney’s longtime Front of House engineer, a role he has held for decades. Paul Boothroyd is widely respected for his work shaping the sound of McCartney’s live shows around the world. He was incredibly kind, took time to chat with us, and genuinely tried to help secure a souvenir pick, even though band policy prevents items from being handed out, understandably so, given how quickly they end up on resale sites. His effort alone meant a great deal, and we’re very grateful for his kindness and professionalism. Thank you, Paul.
Reid’s highlight of the night? Taking in the magnitude of the performance and realizing just how rare it is to see a living piece of music history, especially one shared together.
A night we’ll never forget.
