Did you know the best time to see Manatees in Florida? • Winter in the Florida springs isn’t going to be packed with tourists…but with good old Sea Potatoes! • They gather in these springs because the water is significantly warmer than other bodies of water during the winter. • Trust me I fell in at the start of January and the water was warmer than the air. • These docile blubber nuggets just float around chomping on sea grass all cute like. However a fact everyone should know is you do not touch the Water Puppies. They give zero f*cks about anything and by you making them think people are awesome they then approach unsafe situations for themselves getting hurt or worse killed. You’ll see scars all over these guys due to boats hitting them with their propellers. • I know the intrusive thought is one touchy won’t hurt it but in reality one touchy could kill it.
