Thank you to Cub LA 2027 Judge @wigsonfire

Ben Kaufher was Mr. LA Leather Bear 2018 and is a longtime member of the leather and bear communities. This is their second Oscar win and seventeenth nomination.
Born on the back of Leslie Feinberg’s old Triumph and bred throughout adulthood by almost anyone who offered. They are a fat, hairy failed curmudgeon with a penchant for awkward puns, weird leather, and tiny hats.

This photo brings me to tears. I love our big beautiful family so much. This group represents so much love and passion in our Los Angeles community. Some of the kindest people I have ever met. And I am so immensely grateful to call you my family and to watch @bearslaofficial grow into its next chapter. ALL FOR BEARS AND BEARS FOR ALL!!!!!!!! 📸 @alex_shoots_la

Last weekend was a celebration of birthdays. First picture, my daddy, Ben Johnson, had a birthday this past Saturday at the Eagle. Here he is with my sibling, Elliot. Second picture, my lil bro, Michael, had a birthday yesterday. Happy birthday to both of them. Wishing you all many blessings and lots of love. #LGBTFamily #LeatherFamily #gaylosangeles #queerlosangeles

I have been out and about in a few different places the last couple of weeks connecting with family and friends. This is just a small sample of some of the people I’ve been with and the fun that I’ve had. And the adventures are going to keep continuing…Here’s to a busy and productive spring summer September! (You Atlanta housewives fans will get that reference 😉)
