Quad 405-2/Wiim Ultra

Continuing the hifi series we’re bigging up our pre/power combo from downstairs.
Sittting on the shelf behind the bar this is the perfect blend of a modern streamer, and all the convenience that comes with it, combined with the warm sound of vintage gear from the Quad power amp. The Quad 405-2 was adopted by the BBC in the 70s and 80s and is known for its low fatiguing sound making it suited for long listening session in the studio or, in our case the cafe.
