As 2021 comes to an end, I find myself hyper focusing on the goals I didn’t accomplish, the trips I didn’t get a chance to take, and relationships that ended or faded away; but most often I find myself thinking about my failures {over and over again} beating myself up for not being better and doing more. Honestly, I think about my failures almost daily, but rarely applaud my accomplishments. Does this make me work harder to succeed or does it break down my confidence? Well, the verdict is still out on that one because I really am unsure.

What I would like to offer all of you and most importantly to myself, is a new thought process. What if … We end 2021 celebrating our successes {small + big} and radiant gratitude for being blessed with another year on this earth? What if we laugh at some of those failures and realize not everything we want is always what is meant for us. If we leave this year with a positive heart + mind we will then enter the New Year with that same optimism. If anything, it will only leave us smiling a bit more; it’s worth a try. Be easy on yourself and others, my friends… much love.

I am told I smile a lot and laugh often. It is honestly one of my favorite compliments. So here’s the secret, don’t hold onto people or situations that want to leave you. Forcing anything will wreck your self worth and leave you in a constant state of mental negativity. Take a hint, listen to your gut, let the person or situation pass; instead welcome something new into your life in place of the “what if” thoughts… and do not forget to SMILE along the way!
