To the place I’ve gotten to call home for the last 14 years,
I don’t know if I have the words to describe how thankful I am to have been able to grow up in such an amazing environment with so many loving and special people. From running around cheer force when I was three to winning 2 bronze, 1 silver, and a 1st place Worlds medal with my dream team, Gold, I couldn’t have had a better ending to this chapter of my life.
To my coaches, I want to thank all of you for getting me through so many ups and downs. You were always there right by my side through it all and I couldn’t be more grateful. Each of you have gotten me through some of my hardest days that helped me grow into the person I am. So much of who I am today is because of the love and support you all have given me since day 1. I truly could not have asked for a better set of coaches throughout my years here.
To Gold, being apart of this team for the last 5 years has meant more to me than I could ever put in words. Yall have been my family through the long, exhausting practices, the wins, the loses, and everything in between. Yall have made me become a better person, athlete, and leader. Thank yall for lifting me up and always having my back. And for forgiving me when I needed grace. There is something so special about the bond we have and I will cherish it forever. I love all of you so much and I am so proud of all of our accomplishments. I would not have traded this team for anything in the world (not even a gold medal🥲) I know my journey at cheer force has come to an end but I can’t wait for the next chapter ahead with @lsucheer

To even begin writing this feels impossible. How do I put into words the end of something that has been my entire world for 11 years?
@cheerforcelouisiana has been more than a team, more than a sport, it’s been my home. A place where I could walk in and leave everything else at the door. A place that gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a version of myself I never knew I could become. Some nights I walked out exhausted and in tears, and others I stayed as long as I could leaving with the fullest heart. Every single moment meant something.
For years I told myself “this is my last season”… but somehow I always found my way back and I think that says everything about what this sport has meant to me. The hold it had on my heart, the way I never wanted to let it go. But for the first time, this really is it and that’s a hard reality to accept.
Time moved faster than I could’ve imagined. I blinked and suddenly this chapter is closing. My heart hurts and I don’t fully know what this next season of life looks like but I do know that God has a plan, and I trust that. I’m just so lucky to have had something so special that it hurts this much to say goodbye.
Thank you to every single coach along the way who believed in me, pushed me, and never let me settle. You helped shape me into not only the athlete I became but the person I am today. You mean more to me than you will ever know and truly are like my second parents. I’m going to miss the laughs, inside jokes, life lessons and ranting about anything.
Most importantly, thank you to my parents for the endless support, the sacrifices, the love and for standing by me even on my hardest days. None of this would ever have been possible without you.
To my teammates-my best friends-thank you for being my people, my support system, and my home away from home. You made every single moment worth it and I’ll always be your biggest supporter in everything you do.
Here’s to a new chapter. one that’s different, a little scary, but still exciting. Don’t take a single second for granted because one day, you’ll wish you could go back.
Forever grateful for these 11 years. Gold is forever 💛
