GRC Freeride recap part two: Going up the hill was almost as fun as going down as the u-hauls navigated the 17 hairpin road that is GRC. Jack Traynor and Madison Crum were on location documenting the chaos at North America’s biggest downhill event.

@jahdabo - Brucin USA RAW cut
- Back in 2014 the @cometskateboards team rolled down for Ditch Slap. I was hyped because they were filming for the Brucin’ USA video, and being a flow rider I got to be a part of it, & I hadn’t been a part of a bigger video like that yet, so it was a rad experience for sure. Once we got rolling I befriended Matt Bo right away, dude was rad and I was starting to get interesting in filming and such. I ended up learning a lot just being a shadow, and watching shots being taken. I took a lot of what I learned and incorporated it into my own filming. The Brucin Slap section is still my fave slap edit ever, & the 2016 slap video has a ton of the same raw energy flowing, and I tried to emulate the feeling of bruicin. So w/o Bo the media on this page would definitely be different. I didn’t realize that I had these files sitting on my computer until now, so this tribute is coming a little late. I know this post is long, and not everyone will read/watch the entire thing, but I couldn’t cut it short! You’ll be missed, and thanks for everything Matt! We’ll see you soon enough! - James
