Today was a special reminder that 9/11 is about more than remembering a date — it’s about remembering the heroes, the sacrifices, and the unity that followed.

Classic cars, hot rods, police cruisers, fire trucks, and first responders made their way through La Crescenta and La Cañada, passing by our local schools and giving our kids a chance to see history, patriotism, and community come together. 🇺🇸

Proud to be part of a community that continues to Remember. Honor. Never Forget.

September 11, 2001 — Forever in our hearts. 🕯

THIS is exactly why I got @wilddzi
Sharing experiences, making memories, and creating moments with my kids are the things that will mean the most to me. These are the memories they’ll carry with them, and I’ll cherish them until the end of my time. ❤️💙🧡

“P J’S AUTO REPAIR.” Sun Valley, CA. August 1, 2026.

The fourth image for my photo project with the working title “MUNDANE MONUMENTS: Architecture Portraits in the Northeast San Fernando Valley.” A bigger version of the image is available at my website (link in bio).

P J’s has been in operation since the 1980s. It’s my understanding that the shop was originally founded by brothers Peter and Jimmy (hence the P and J), and that Peter has continued to run the shop since Jimmy’s passing. They specialize in classic cars, and my friend @wilddzi recommended that I include them as part of my project—and I’m glad I did.

P J’s is an iconic example of an established, trusted, independently-run neighborhood garage. So much of our lives in California, and certainly in the San Fernando Valley, is characterized by our relationship with our cars and therefore with the skilled people who help us maintain and service those cars. Especially for those in the lowrider and classic-car scene, the shops, garages, and mechanics are often extended family.

(Special thanks to the pigeons modeling on the “PJ’S AUTOMOTIVE” signage. I support fair wages but they flew off before I could negotiate, so.)

Chrome, neon, and California nights.
There's something timeless about pulling into Bob's Big Boy on a Friday night. Under the glow of the iconic sign, every classic has a story—and my '66 keeps adding new chapters. See you at the next one!

Member Appreciation Day at the @ghowardmuseum was a great way to spend the day! It was even better getting to enjoy it with my fellow @burbank_road_kings members. We also got to check out an awesome collection of Road Kings memorabilia that brought back some great history and memories.

Fatherhood has given me my greatest titles: Dad, jungle gym, personal chef, chauffeur, and professional monster chaser.

From silly moments and endless adventures to hugs that make everything better, every memory with my daughter and son is a reminder that life’s greatest blessings call me Dad.

Thank you for filling my days with laughter, love, and more joy than I ever thought possible. Watching you grow has been the adventure of a lifetime, and I wouldn’t trade a single moment.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads making memories, one laugh, one hug, and one unforgettable moment at a time.

Not all heroes wear capes—some wear club shirts and spend their Sunday helping put on a charity car show.
Proud to stand alongside this amazing Road Kings crew and help continue a Burbank tradition that's been bringing together cars, community, and charity for decades

Have you been here yet? Well mark @larrys_chili_dog down and stop by the next time you go into Burbank!

I was greeted through the order windowed immediately and order taken. As John (guy who took my order) was handing me the food I told him that I loved all the @burbank_road_kings memorabilia around the restaurant.

I told him I had been a RK for a year now and he cut me off mid sentance and said, "Yea, silver colored mustang, right?" My face --> 😮 John knew what I drove and that I was a RK! So freaking cool.

Food was great and can't wait to come by with the club soon!
