That day, Finn and I met THE BILL MURRAY holding a sign representing @billmurraythebostonterrier while all of us were growing mustaches to raise money for Movember and men’s health. I’m getting closer to my thousand dollar goal for this month. Have about a week left. Can you help? Look at all these people that have been helping! THANK YOU!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who is celebrating this event today😊.

Similar to soaking wooden skewers before placing them on hot coals, immersing ourselves in gratitude is preparation for, not protection from, what is to come.

We’re still put to the flame, but we're not burned. The soaking sees us through.

We feel the heat but we're not consumed.

I read you can soak the skewers in wine, which might be what soaking in gratitude is like: Jesus changing the water to wine and us climbing right in. Say.No.More.

In today’s Little Life Words, I introduce you to my friend @wildedgefaith who was put to the flame in this crazy year of 2020. There’s a link for you in my bio.

Give Charlotte a follow to read her reflections on a gratitude with sufficient grit to see us through.

A huge shout out to eighteen of my friends who took the time to share their thoughts on hustle culture and how they're telling a different story. This palms up life we explore around here is intriguing and meaningful, but not easy.

So here's to courage.
Vulnerability.
Honesty.
Shining a light on our pain.

Because we know pain is here to
show us something that matters.

The places we're dying a little inside
are neon signs pointing toward our healing.

Our freedom.
Our fully aliveness.

Want to keep exploring palms up? Sign up at www.jenniferkaysmith.com/connect. I write an email just for you that arrives every other Sunday afternoon. It's a moment to pause, breathe a little deeper and get curious about your life

Friends, thank you again. You're incredible.

Palms up!
