Mixing and mastering in the hills of Vermont

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last Thursday was one hell of a day. @vermontbrewers came by for a casual day of disc golf and camaraderie. Better yet @ian.macdonald.photo stopped over and made us all look like pros, and the course look gorgeous. Many thanks to all involved!

Leaves started with Rudy and Styalz in Melbourne, Australia. They sent over this beautiful song they’d started on Piano.

I flipped it with a choir sample I had just recorded at my nephew’s recital upstate. Chopped it with my buddy Dan.

Put it together in the studio and it felt really special.

A true combo of great minds - Styalz, Rudy, Dan❤️ Dave on the mix, Rob on the master. All love.

Alice Grace - “Periphery” and “When You’re Asleep” were released independently on all streaming platforms July 17, 2026.

Personal note from Dan - * @alicegracemusic has been cooking an absolutely incredible set of new songs with her band at Big Lake. Resident recording wizard @ianjsteinberg has joined the band and facilitated the collaborative production, tracking, and mixing of these songs in house. Mastering was expertly handled by @wilderfoxstudio . The band includes Alice’s brother @oskavelli on drums, @ben_dexter.fm on bass, and @ianjsteinberg on guitar and synths. Group vocal harmonies are very much involved as well. These songs have been completely stuck in my head since I first heard the band rehearsing them, and now they’re out in the world in a glorious, fully formulated and baked form, and people can finally hear what I felt like was my personal Tuesday-night band for the past few months. There’s much, much more to come from Alice and her band- this is a serious Burlington gem in the making. It would mean the world to the band and to our studio for you to go like and follow and subscribe and download or whatever on your streaming service of choice!*

FEEL EVERYTHING IS YOURS ❤️‍🔥

We worked really hard on this album and I’m really proud of it. I wasn’t sure I’d be awake at midnight, but I’m wired after our last out of town show on the feel everything tour 🙃 It’s been a blast to play these new songs in new places for the first time and to meet and play with so many rad bands at cool venues! We’ll be playing the album in full at our album release party back home this Saturday, June 6th at @highergroundmusic in the showcase lounge with @theeyetrapsband & @theleatherboundbooks ❤️ $12 ADV tix via link in bio, or grab one day of show for $15.

It was a joy and pleasure to work with @jercoons at @jerandco on this album over the past year. I love how these songs have evolved and I’m so happy with how they sound and I’m thrilled to finally share them with you all!!!

More to say later. For now sleeeeeep and see you Saturday!!

Feel everything!!!

I put out a new one today and this time its my debut ep “undergrowth”. It was started in a home on a piano that were both lost to a fire and so it was finished at cafes and beaches and on busses and trains. If you like folk music or electronic music or are open to new things then its just for you.
