Response & Pliskin - Stained Mind [Wilderness] I've been absolutely loving the stuff that Wilderness have been putting out recently. Each release is capturing that classic atmospheric sound but with the polish of modern production techniques. Response & Pliskin back on this release with four tracks that bring the lush pads and breaks. My pick's this one but there's plenty more on here that's worth lookin. Go grab this on vinyl or digital if, like me, you love a bit of this sound.

Peeb - Endless Skies [Wilderness] I'm a big fan of Peeb's tunes (and we recently finished our first collab), this release on Wilderness is top stuff in his usual melodic style. Lushness all over it and available on wax now for the vinyl crew.

This has been out for a couple of weeks now, but I wanted to say a few words about it. Firstly, thanks to Wilderness for putting the EP together, not to burst any bubbles but none of the tracks were made with the intention of being an EP, but that's what good labels and good A&R can do! They all work so well as a full project, so once again thanks to Andrew at Wilderness! I'm trying not to write this like an Oscars acceptance speech, but thanks to Response for being so easy to work with (we have more to come!) My thanks also to Onde, who added the final vocal touches to the track 'Undo', which took it from being just fine to something special. In this age of endless sample packs and AI nonsense, you really can't beat collaboration with actual people! And also, I'd like to thank the guy (has to be a guy) on Response's behalf who commented on 'Civilised Drinking' and I quote, "It's great, please finish it". Thank you for your insight.
