A little look around Wallsend 💙

Local businesses, familiar streets, places to eat, shop and explore, there’s plenty happening around our precinct.

Whether you’re grabbing a bite, ticking off the errands or discovering somewhere new, there’s always a reason to spend a little time local.

See you around Wallsend 👋💙

Newcastle understood the assignment ❤️💙

Shopfronts decorated.
Houses & fences painted.
Balloons everywhere.
Businesses getting amongst it.
Knights jerseys on every second person.

Consider this my little photographic love letter to Newcastle before the grand final.

Had an accidental but much needed Instagram hiatus for the month of September, but life has still been big and beautiful over here, just with a slightly slower pace.

Since I had the flu (and look, let’s be honest, probably a long time before), my body has been screaming at me to slow down… probably to stop… but mum life (or my personality 🤷🏻‍♀️) doesn’t allow for that 😆 but this time I’ve really had to listen. So I’ve been soaking up some slower days, learning to crochet (which I’m so obsessed with and ready to have a career change for 😆), celebrating my first baby turning 8 and my baby (who I swear was born yesterday) turning 3, trying to get to @toprockdancestudios where I can, having boundaries around my work and putting down the things that are not the most important right now. Oh, and sampling the new incredible pastries at @crumb_coffee - the tiramisu one was so good!

I think I’ll return to regular content soon… but at the same time the world of Instagram for your business is so exhausting, and I’d much rather share in other ways that allow for more nuance and conversation and less hooks (unless they’re crochet hooks) and key word bots!
