The best way to end the day? Slow everything down. 🌙🔥

Our after-dark sauna sessions are made for winding down, switching off, and giving your mind and body a moment to reset before bed.

Our final session starts at 8pm, so there's still time to swap the day's noise for the warmth of the sauna, a refreshing lake plunge, and a little quiet under the Queenstown night sky.

Book your evening wind down.

North Island or South Island? 🇳🇿

If you’re only visiting one island, this decision can completely change your New Zealand experience.

The Big South delivers glaciers, fjords, alpine scenery and adrenaline activities, while the Great North Voyage is packed with Māori culture, Hobbiton, geothermal parks and glowworm caves🌋

Neither is “better”… they’re just built for different travellers✌🏼

Which one would you book? Let me know below! 👇

Comment “BILL” and I’ll send you the webpage with all the links and resources.

New Zealand’s Government introduced the Conservation Amendment Bill, which has passed its first reading in Parliament - a proposal that, if passed into law, could permanently change the way we know Aotearoa.

The bill would remove protections from around 60% of New Zealand’s conservation estate (around 5 million hectares). These landscapes support an estimated 80% of the country’s native bird species, along with many threatened ecosystems found nowhere else on Earth.

The threat is real, as it would become easier for these protected areas to be opened up to commercial use, development, land reclassification, and long-term commercial control.

There is some good news. This week, public pressure made a difference, and the Government announced that it will remove one of the bill’s most controversial clauses. But the bill is still moving through Parliament, and many conservation organizations believe significant concerns remain.

As many of you know, New Zealand is incredibly dear to me, and I couldn’t simply scroll past this. I feel gutted - even the thought of this law passing is devastating. So I decided to do something.

I’ve created a webpage that explains what’s happening in simple terms. Whether you’re a Kiwi or someone like me who simply loves Aotearoa, here’s how you can help:

• Sign the @greenpeacenz and @nzgreenparty petitions.
• Make an official submission to Parliament
• Email your MP
• Call your MP
• Share this post to help spread the word.
• Check @forestandbird & @federatedmountainclubs for more info & resources.

⏳ Deadline for submissions is 2 July 2026. UPDATE: SUBMISSIONS EXTENDED UNTIL 13 JULY 2026.

This isn’t just about land use. It’s about whether New Zealand continues to protect some of the most extraordinary landscapes on Earth for its unique biodiversity and future generations - or gradually opens them up to development for the benefit of a few.
