needed to touch some grass, so we drove to the mountains 🌲🍂

stayed in the coziest cabin @wildlandcabins 🏡 got to breathe in the fresh mountain air, find a little stillness, meditate, and reconnect with ourselves away from the noise of everyday life. 🍷☁️

a little quality time with my girl, surrounded by nature, cozy cabin nights & stepping away from the noise of everyday life. sometimes you just need to slow down, be present & pour back into yourself. my soul needed this little reset. 🌲🍂🍷

Four years together. To some, a blink of an eye. To us, the start of everything.

Thank you for giving me love, a deeper sense of purpose, and trusting me to care for Sophie and Fitz as my own. I love you the most.

Idyllwild is where we took our first real vacation together. It’s become the place we go when we need to reconnect: with each other, with ourselves, with nature. It’s one of the places we return to while the rest of life refuses to slow down and we need to be reminded that we can choose our own pace.

📍 Idyllwild, California

2 day solo adventure to Idyllwild Pine Cove! 🌲 ⛰️ Located in the San Jacinto Mountain range in Southern California.

I booked a wellness lodge through Wildland Cabins & stayed in their Zen Den. 🧘🏻 🌿

There are so many cute places to visit in the little whimsical mountain town of Idyllwild!

🍃🌸 Idyllwild Gardens was magical! Like stepping into a land of fairies. It’s HUGE and there are so many different rooms and so many gorgeous goods to shop through. From raw honey to beautiful florals, kitchenware & journals, candles & decor etc. You can easily spend hours there alone!

🍝 FERRO is 10/10! Delicious Italian & wonderful atmosphere. Be sure to request a table near the fire for a romantic cozy dinner.

🦙☕️ Alpaca Coffee & Tea was so yummy I went back day 2 to try another specialty iced latte!

📚 Speakeasy Bookmarket was a quaint little book store with handmade ceramic goods, journals, candles & books! Don’t forget to follow the spiral staircase upstairs!

🌊 🌲 For an easy 0.5mi loop check out Lake Fulmor. It is so peaceful and you can see mountain views, fish & tall pines.

🐻 Idyllwild Nature Center is a great spot to stop & visit. There is a small gift store and many different trails you can hike! Be sure to bring water & snacks.

There are so many things to do in Idyllwild. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem! If you’re up for it just a short 30 minute scenic drive away is Lake Hemet. You can walk the lake and get some fresh air and take in the scenery of the sun twinkling off the water for a healing experience! ☺️🧡🌲
