Starting a business is hard. I’ve done it a few times now (I clearly hate working for someone else 😂), and every venture has taught me something new. But Moose & Mustard means something completely different to me because it came from one of the hardest periods of my life and from the dogs I love more than anything. When I started Moose & Mustard, I was overweight, depressed, broke, and struggling badly with confidence. I searched everywhere for jobs, but nothing seemed to stick. Then in October 2024, after travelling and bringing home our second pooch, I had an idea: why not start a natural dog chew business? Dogs have always been such a huge part of my life, but Moose’s struggles with Giardia as a puppy completely changed the way I looked at nutrition. I became obsessed with learning about natural feeding and how much good nutrition can impact our dogs health and happiness. My dogs inspire me every single day, and Moose & Mustard was built because of them 🤎 Over the next few months, I researched constantly, trying to figure out how I could turn my love and knowledge of dogs into something meaningful to share with other owners. Matt kindly bought my very first stock order, and I’ll always be grateful because without that, none of this would’ve started. I spent four days building a very questionable website😂designing a logo, pricing stock, and creating our Instagram page, never expecting it to become what it is today. Since then, we’ve built an amazing community of like minded dog owners who want the very best for their pups. We’ve grown to over 3,000 followers, expanded our range beyond anything I imagined, attended markets, created a brilliant team of brand reps, and packed thousands of orders 🐾 Owning a business is HARD. There’s always something to stay on top of, invoices, stock, customer service, marketing, packing orders, shipping, the list never ends. But every stressful moment is worth it because of the community we’ve built🥹🩷 Moose & Mustard gave me purpose when I felt lost, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough for the love and support you show us every single day. Watching this little dream grow has been surreal. We love you all 🤎🐾

OUR STORY🌱🤎 After picking up our gorgeous Moosey 2 years ago, we quickly figured out he had picked up something from the people we bought him from, this turned out to be Giardia and it threw us into a world of vet visits, tests, allergies and sensitive tummies Navigating having a working dog who also suffered with such high intolerances is what first sparked our interest in natural chews, no additives, no nasties - just pure goodness! We travelled through 9 countries in our camper with Moose, exploring many different cultures, climates and foods. Moose has tried treats from all over the EU and the one major thing we noticed is - it was so hard to find unprocessed chews! Sadly so many pet stores stock things such as raw hide and highly processed packaged treats that are full of cereals and animal derivatives 😢 Hence why we started…Moose&Mustard!🧡 3 months later we added little Mustard into the family (best decision ever!) 🐶 Having two working breeds growing together, we learnt that they seek mental stimulation not just by exercise - enrichment and training are just as important! Natural chews became a great way for them to decompress after walks, get nutrients in that we couldn’t find in food and as training tools (plus much more!) Doggies naturally love gnawing on something, it calms their busy little brains; and they’re packed full of natural nutrients that aid their skin, teeth, coat and brains. It was the perfect combination 🤌🏼 We created Moose&Mustard in honour of our incredible pups and all of their beautiful complications🥰😆 and we want YOU and your pooches to get the best possible health benefits from the food and treats you give your doggies. So much time, research and love has gone into creating this business and we are godsmacked at the love we have received since we launched a month ago.
