The King’s Slumber 🦌

The forest was alive with the sounds of the rut, but for a moment, this old bull had nothing left to prove. Beneath the weight of his antlers, he settled into the moss and let the chaos of autumn pass around him.

There’s something powerful about seeing these animals at their most imposing, then catching a quiet moment like this.

We made the perfect box for dad: popcorn, wool socks, dill pickle cotton candy, a journal for the adventures & dill pickle seasoning. We even brought back our Cajun garlic butter for this one 🙂‍↕️.

+ we’ll include a personal hand written note in the box on your behalf!

We wrapped up the winter ski season with an incredible day in K-country. It’s time to shift gears and start the summer ski season with the finally push for 100 months in a row.

Couloir Camp (Day 3) unfortunately resulted in no couloirs. I was struggling both physically and mentally, and the decision was made to turn around. Fortunately @neilwarrenskiguiding salvaged the day by teaching us about snow anchors and reviewing our rope skills from Day 1. Cirque Peak North Couloir will have to wait until next season.
