On the 12/12, what better way to celebrate 12 years together than by getting married?

No big crowd, no spotlight. Just the two of them, their little girl, and two close friends as witnesses.

Emma & Tim’s elopement was a secret.
They wanted something intimate, something that felt like them. Also because they don’t like to be the center of attention. And later, they would surprise their families with the images.

After 12 years together, it was about honouring their story, in the most meaningful way. 🤍

Elopements aren’t about making the day smaller. It may not look like a traditional wedding day, but it’s never less meaningful, and it’s always intentional.

Also, there’s always space for the details that really matter. Like this pair of gumboots, a quiet wink to the very first day they met, back when Tim was working on a dairy farm (and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a picture with the tractor).

I love when elopements leave room for these moments. When couples bring pieces of their real story into the day.

If the idea of an intimate, quiet “just us” wedding speaks to your heart, elopements might be exactly what you’re looking for. And I’d love to be part of your story. ✨

I don't know if you're like me, but I'm one of those mums who loves the school holidays!

Spending time with my kiddo and seeing her happily playing with family and friends makes me smile.

Hubby and I really missed her when she was with his mum the last couple of days, but I'm looking forward to our #girlsroadtrip down south for the @southerncraftersnz market at @iltstadiumsouthland in #Invercargill next weekend.

Traveling with my wee family to out of town markets and seeing more of our beautiful country is definitely one of the highlights of what I do!

Hope to see you there, or at @gardencitymakete at @wolfbrookarena on the 19th!

Fi xx
