After a summer of Sun, Sea and SPF, I’m very happy to move into 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗵, 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗱 season. My skin, and all of me, really, is ready for some much-needed restoration. And Halen Môn products are made for it. Born on the Isle of Anglesey, handmade in Wales, 100% natural, with botanical ingredients and essential-oil blends. Simple, sensory and beautiful. I started using these in June, but built my little routine towards the end of summer as the weather became cooler.

For a warm bath or, when short on time, a foot soak. Epsom + Halen Môn sea salts with lavender, geranium and eucalyptus create a calming, fresh herbal-floral scent.

We drove FOUR HOURS to Anglesey for a bath. And, strangely, I stand by the decision.

If you’re looking for unusual things to do in Anglesey, put the Wild Môn Seaweed Baths at Halen Môn on your list.

Halen Môn launched Wales’ first bespoke outdoor seaweed bathing experience, right on the shores of Ynys Môn overlooking the Menai Strait and the mountains of Eryri.

You get 45 minutes in your own private outdoor barrel bath, filled with beautifully warm water and sustainably harvested organic seaweed.

And there is actually some thinking behind sitting in what essentially looks like a very luxurious bowl of seaweed soup.

When seaweed is warmed in water it releases mineral-rich oils. Halen Môn says the experience can help nourish and soften the skin, soothe tired muscles and encourage deep relaxation.

And I can confirm that sitting in warm water, beer in hand, looking across the Menai Strait towards Eryri is a fairly effective way of forgetting about your emails for 45 minutes.

You can even order a hot or cold drink from the Halen Môn café and have it delivered barrel-side. Dangerous information. 🍺

Afterwards we made a proper Anglesey day trip of it, exploring more of the island before stopping around Menai Bridge, which will forever be one of my favourite places for a wander, food and those gorgeous views across the Menai Strait.
