POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

A little bts first, and I’ll go into more detail on everything in individual posts, but we made all the decorations with @astrobrights paper, the stars, the chains, the program, invitations, signs, props, I am obsessed. It took weeks to make everything but because so many of our friends stepped up to help we put the whole thing together in two…maybe three hours. I leaned into using 5 main colors and then a few others popped in here and there.

There’s so many elements to talk about 😵‍💫

The little details that made the day, all theirs 🌸🤍

The handwritten touches, the flowers, the rings, the pieces they chose with intention, every colorful detail of Liz + Sage’s intimate backyard wedding felt personal, sentimental, and completely true to them.

Proof that your wedding doesn’t have to be huge to be overflowing with meaning.

Tell me, what could be better than draping an entire room in rich, emerald-green velvet?!

The moment you stepped through those dramatic curtains, it felt as though you had entered another world—warm, intimate, romantic and completely transformed. The sconces peeking through the velvet, the glow of the candlelight, the beautiful wooden architecture overhead and the layers of color and texture created the most incredible atmosphere.

Deep chocolate linens grounded the room, while lush florals in shades of blush, ivory, burgundy and soft green brought so much life and movement to every table. Add in those towering candles, delicate place settings and the breathtaking floral installation floating beneath the chandelier, and every corner felt intentional, inviting and wonderfully unexpected.

@therefinedhost told me Morgan wanted the room to feel completely transformed—and oh, did this vendor team deliver. They didn’t simply decorate the space; they created an experience. One that felt sumptuous without being overwhelming, dramatic while still welcoming, and perfectly suited for an unforgettable evening of celebration.

The textures. The tones. The candlelight. The florals. The velvet. Every detail worked together so beautifully, making this wedding feel incredibly special from the moment guests entered the room.

More weddings wrapped in velvet green, please. 💚
