A massive well done to our EYFS & KS1 Speech and Drama children 🌟

The children delivered a fantastic showcase for their families, performing their poems with confidence, expression and brilliant actions. It was a perfect opportunity to practise ahead of their LAMDA exams and they absolutely rose to the occasion!

We are so proud of each and every one of them. A huge thank you also goes to Miss Jenny - Wildthings! 👏

EE Spotlight: Wild Things LAMDA 🎭

Our Wild Things LAMDA club gives students the chance to build confidence, creativity, and advanced performance skills after a busy school day. Pupils develop their acting, communication, and presentation abilities through scripted work, character exploration, and exam preparation.

The club encourages self-expression, resilience, and collaboration in a focused and supportive environment. It’s a space where students can challenge themselves, refine their stage presence, and grow in confidence both on stage and beyond.

Wild Things LAMDA is a perfect example of how creativity and personal development can come together, allowing students to gain valuable lifelong skills while enjoying the performing arts.

Some of our Prep students in the Wild Things Performing Arts group had a truly unforgettable evening performing at the AO Arena as part of The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals ✨

Sharing the stage with the cast of Annie and the incredible La Voix, our students showcased their talent on one of the UK’s most iconic stages!

A huge thank you to Wild Things and The National Lottery for making this extraordinary opportunity possible. The performance recently aired on BBC and what a moment it was to see our students shine 🌟

What an incredible performance! Massive well done to the cast of Annie and members of @wildthingsperformingarts for their brilliant performance of ‘Hard Knock Life’ on Big Night of Musicals. I’d been eagerly waiting to watch it on the telly. Now I’m counting down the days until the @anniemusicaluk tour starts on 23rd May at @newwimbledontheatre!

✨Big shout out to @wildthingsperformingarts an #Oldham grown performing arts school with a difference ✨
In Wild Things words:
‘In a world that loves to jam everyone into neat little boxes, it’s time to throw confetti and celebrate our quirks! The most successful people, whether wildly ambitious entrepreneurs, big cheese corporate leaders, or just blissfully happy adult, are the ones who proudly strut their stuff and embrace their inner weirdness. So let’s ditch the conformity and unleash our authentic selves… who knows, we might just start a trend of glorious chaos!’

Our daughter absolutely loves this local drama school. It’s fun, expressive, and creative, a space where young people can truly be themselves and discover their unique individuality at their own pace.

@wildthingsperformingarts is also a non-profit CIC, with a huge focus on delivering funded arts projects in the community, opening the door for children across Gtr Manchester who might not otherwise have access to performing arts to experience the joy of it all.

So for @wildthingsperformingarts to be selected to perform in the @bbc @nationallotterygoodcauses Big Night of Musicals, appearing in @anniemusicaluk alongside @lavoixtheshow, has been nothing short of magical, and so well deserved! 👏🏻

We feel incredibly lucky that our daughter has been part of this amazing experience. She’s loved every minute! Huge credit to the Annie team, BBC team, choreographers, safeguarding team, and of course Nancy & @wildthingsperformingarts for their incredible support throughout a whirlwind rehearsal schedule.

You can catch the performance on BBC’s Big Night of Musicals, Saturday 28th March at 7pm 🎭

We can’t wait! 🤩
