POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

From therapy rooms to friendship circles. 💙

These three first crossed paths years ago through @spotontherapyforkids1 and @wilestherapyforkids .

Now they’re connecting, playing, and learning from each other at We Rock and @social_edventures .

The goal was never just therapy.
The goal was always community.

And moments like this remind us why. ✨

Siblings want to feel included and help their sibling with a rare disease. James’s brother, Wiley, lives with Angelman syndrome, and James loves lending a helping hand—especially during mealtimes. You’re a rockstar, James ⭐️

Forever thankful that these beautiful mommas have been brought into my life. I am in awe of their kindness, resiliency, strength and compassion (among other things). It's not easy for any of us to escape for a weekend, but we owe a lot to those that held down the fort so that we could have a much needed restorative and soul/heart healing visit. ❤️

We absolutely love the @cureangelman FAST Foundation and all their efforts to make a difference for those effected by Angelman’s Syndrome. They are the most loving, kind and caring community we’ve had the chance to be a part of. We’ve fallen in love with their kiddos and families. Thank you for having us be a part of such a great community! Happy International Angelman Day!

Meet Wiley! Wiley’s parents have been dear friends of ours for the last 18+ years. Wiley is 3 years old and could very well be the biggest ray of sunshine you will ever meet in your whole life... seriously, just look at that smile 😍 What you may not know about Wiley is that he was born with Angelman Syndrome (AS).
🤍
AS is a rare neurogenetic disorder that affects approximately 500,000 individuals worldwide. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: delayed developmental milestones, gross and fine motor impairment, loss of functional speech, and epilepsy. People with AS often have behavioral characteristics that include a happy demeanor, characterized by frequent laughing and smiling. FAST is a NORD member organization and nonprofit research organization singularly focused on funding research that holds the greatest promise of treating AS. Want to learn more about AS? Check out cureangelman.org. Want to learn more about Wiley? Follow along with his journey @wiles4miles 🤍
