[3/3] We conclude our share of the Nonsense Lab one-time events with one of our favorite ways to gather, in a TMT Community Café. This time, we entered into a completely absurd world with Ron Allen’s Entertainer Zero Machine: A Cyber Peep Show Lyric of Illegitimate Theater. It was truly an evening for the Nonsensical. Thank you for all that attended and breathed life into this obscure and visually wild play. Miss this Community Café but want to make the next one? We have many throughout the year and want to break bread and have conversations with YOU! Join our mailing list to stay in touch and know when the next event is.

Target Margin Theater kicks off its 2026-2027 season with The Nonsense Lab, a three-week performance festival of new work that explores the theme of Nonsense. Running September 17 – October 3, 2026, The Nonsense Lab will offer three productions, each for six performances, and three 1-night events! Full schedule below: Let Me Be An Animal September 18, 26, 27 at 7pm; September 19 at 4pm; October 2 at 9pm; October 3 at 2pm We’ll Jump Off That Bridge When We Get There September 17, 20, 25 and October 2 at 7pm; September 26 and October 3 at 4pm The Charnel House September 19, 24 and October 1, 3 at 7pm; September 20, 27 at 4pm One-time music and artistic events enrich the program. The last few weeks, we held three separate workshops: our yearly Audition Intensive and Solo Performance Intensive, both taught by @mgrahamsmith and @dmw_directs , and “Be a Human Onstage: Embodied Storytelling workshop” taught by @smooth_landyn @esperanzarises and @adinsidneywalker We are so grateful to the instructors and participants of these workshops, which were all offered with $0 minimum registration. Our workshops are part of artistic programming that invests in and uplifts theatre-makers of all kinds, at all points in their careers.
