6:30 PM we HONOR our Class of 2025!

We are incredibly proud of our senior class. Throughout their high school years, they have endured more than any young person should be asked to bear. In the face of heartbreaking loss — the passing of two beloved teammates — they have carried themselves with grace, respect, dedication, resilience, and unwavering love.

These young men have shown us what it means to honor those we’ve lost — to carry their memory not as a burden, but as a source of strength. With remarkable courage, they have turned grief into unity and pain into purpose.

Tonight, we honor 18 exceptional seniors and the teammates who will forever be part of their story. They deserve a night of celebration, remembrance, and recognition.

“What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” — Helen Keller

🌟SENIOR SPOTLIGHT🌟

🔹WILL RUSSELL🔹#17🔹

🥍 MIDFIELDER 🥍

Will picked up a lacrosse stick at the age of 6 years old and has poured his heart into the sport ever since. Nevermind that in elementary school Will was voted most likely to be ejected from a lacrosse game, he has the kindest heart. Will is a smart team player, always looking for the next strategic play to win the game. His work ethic, resilience, and strength of character are most impressive. Through the victories, setbacks, and many injuries, he has always remained grounded and focused on the things that matter most. His mental and physical toughness are one of the many reasons that others look up to him as an athlete and a friend.

Beyond the field, he has continually pursued excellence with the same determination and skill. Earning the prestigious National Merit Scholar Award and certifying as an Emergency Medical Technician are a testament to his intellect, curiosity and relentless work ethic. His academic achievements reflect a deep commitment to learning and growth, culminating in a well-deserved scholarship to BYU. He approaches every challenge with humility and a quiet confidence—always ready to rise above and reach further.

Will has a diverse range of interests and skills. His love of music, especially the guitar, and the snowy mountains are where he unwinds. He loves a good laugh and enjoys a competitive game of pickleball or basektball. He cleverly wins at poker and chess and likes to cook delicious meals. These and many other passions have shaped him into a well-rounded young man.

Above all, he knows what is important and stands for what is right. He is a loyal, trustworthy, and thoughtful son, brother and friend. He doesn’t seek the spotlight but chooses to support others in their achievements. He is respectful and encourages peace. And he always has a smile on his face.

Why do we perform ankling as a warm up?
➡️ Helps wake up intrinsic muscles in the ankle
➡️ Reduces the risk of ankle injuries
➡️ Improves strength and stability

Important Cue to Remember
✅ Exaggerate Pulling Toe towards knee and slapping ball of foot into ground
✅ Start in place before progressing forward to get the movement down
✅ Get as much air on each step when progressing to your “pop”
