Had some fun covering my friend @will.e.camera on B Camera on a little Christmas movie the other day. I’m very grateful to finally have had the opportunity to operate for the talented DP @pieterstathis and also for the second time that week to be at the @lumostage with my good friend @the_real_andy_brown

I got to do some fun shots on an indie feature. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out.

Very honoured to have been nominated for the Best BC Film at @chilliwackindependentfilmfest along with @pantamosleh and @alireza_kazemipour_

Also huge congratulations to our talented DOP @cinema_shark for winning the Best Cinematography award for painting such a hauntingly beautiful picture.

As most of you know by now, this project holds a special place in my heart. The script was no more than 7 pages long, and yet it was the most gripping and ambitious short story I’d come across as a producer.

I’m very thankful for each and everyone involved from art dept and construction, to rigging and a full underwater crew, this short grew to feel like a full size union show, but operated with an indie mindset. They all had two things in common:

1. All were highly professional in their fields.
2. All were highly motivated by the story.

We recently hosted our 2-day, hands-on underwater workshop showcasing our @gates.underwater housings to an enthusiastic group of participants with expert training provided by @watervisions1 @will.e.camera and @aiden_zanini. The 2nd day saw the participants enter the underwater tank at @watervisions1 facility and collaborate to shoot a short film — more underwater workshops are planned throughout the year — photos courtesy of @alfredgordonliu
