Surround yourself with people who challenge your excuses, encourage your growth, celebrate your wins, and tell you the truth even when it’s not what you want to hear.

I’m incredibly grateful for the people who continue to push me to become better not just stronger in the gym, but stronger in my character, my discipline, my faith, and the way I show up for others.

None of us have it all figured out. We’re all a work in progress. But when you have people who genuinely want to see you grow, you learn to stop settling, start taking accountability, and make better decisions one day at a time.

Be grateful for the people who push you. Become the person who pushes others. We’re better when we grow together. 🤍🔥💪🏻

Watching Cade grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Over the years, I’ve watched him become stronger, more confident, and more willing to lean into hard things. The biggest change hasn’t been his strength—it’s been his belief in what he’s capable of.

People sometimes ask if I train Cade differently because he has Down syndrome.

The answer is yes… I push him even harder.

Not because I expect more from him than anyone else, but because I refuse to let a diagnosis set the ceiling for his potential. He deserves the opportunity to struggle, fail, learn, and succeed just like every other athlete.

I don’t lower the bar.
I help him rise to it.

And every single time he proves that limits are often placed on people by others—not by themselves.

Proud of you, Cade. Keep chasing hard things. 💙💪

Before I even understood theater, my mom was introducing it to me without realizing. She was always singing around the house and taking us to Theatre in the Park every summer.

When my mom was my age, she played Maria in West Side Story, which is probably why this musical has always meant so much to me.

When I saw the audition flyer, I almost didn’t go for it. I’ve always seen myself more as a filmmaker and on-camera actor than a stage performer. But because this show meant so much to my mom, I gave it a shot.

The moment I got cast as Action, one of the Jets, I called her immediately. She was ecstatic.

Before rehearsals started, she told me I was going to have so much fun and to enjoy every second of it because it goes by fast. She was right.

This ended up becoming one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had as an actor. I walked into rehearsals nervous and unsure of myself, and walked away with more confidence, lifelong memories, friendships I’ll carry with me, and proof that growth starts the moment you stop holding yourself back.

Really grateful for Agustina Coretti, Damian Heidelberg, Jeri Kirsten, Trinity Cidel, Addison Stelzer, and everyone who made this such a great experience.

And especially grateful for my mom. ❤️
