Well, the dust has settled and we did it.

Obsidian 001 is officially in the books, and I’m incredibly proud of what we created.

A massive thank you to @robertglenndj , @will_fox_dj and, of course, @lloydbarwoodmusic Three brilliant DJs who trusted the idea and absolutely delivered exactly the kind of musical journey I’d hoped Obsidian could be.

Thank you to @mssngpieces.bar for being fantastic partners and giving 001 the perfect home, the staff and security were legendary! Also a big thank you to @fenning.photography for somehow capturing the night exactly as it felt. The photos are incredible.

But most importantly, thank you to every single person who bought a ticket, walked through those doors and supported our first night.

Starting something new is always a leap into the unknown. You can obsess over the music, the artwork, the room and every tiny detail, (and we did) but ultimately none of it means much without people there to experience it.

And you came. You danced. You supported the DJs. You supported Obsidian.

You made 001 feel like the beginning of something.

And seeing as it went rather well…

It would be rude not to do another one, wouldn’t it? 👀

Much love,
Collsie

Obsidian 001 was epic!

@obsidianprotocolmusic

Thanks for having me support the grand opening. Amazing people came out for this one ❤️👌🏻

@collsiemusic did an amazing job curating the event and the music was well on-point. I think @mssngpieces.bar is the perfect spot for it.

Was class supporting @lloydbarwoodmusic who of course stole the show 🔥

My main man @will_fox_dj played a blinder closing the night out with some proper Progressive gems.

Missed out? Don't worry, I've got you (partially) covered. I've re-recorded my set from the night and it'll be dropping on @progressivespectrum this week ▶️

The only question is... when's the next one? 👀

Thank you.

Last night, Obsidian became real.

To everyone who came through the doors, danced with us, supported the DJs and trusted us with your Saturday night, thank you.

We started Obsidian with a simple idea, create a small, intimate space where the music comes first. Longer sets, incredible artists and a room full of people willing to come on the journey with us.

Last night was exactly that.

Huge love to @lloydbarwoodmusic , @robertglenndj and @will_fox_dj to @mssngpieces.bar for giving us a home, and to everyone who helped make 001 happen.

And to those of you on that dancefloor…

You made the first one something special.

Obsidian 001. Done. Official photos coming soon.

Built for the music. Built for the journey.

Tomorrow, Obsidian lands. 🖤

001 is ready.

The room. The sound. The artists. The details. Everything is in place, and we genuinely cannot wait to welcome you through the doors at @mssngpieces.bar tomorrow night.

This is the beginning of something we believe in, and we want you there for the first one.

If Obsidian sounds like your kind of night, come and experience it with us.

This Saturday, Obsidian 001 finally becomes real.

A lot of thought, time and probably an unreasonable amount of obsessing has gone into creating this first night.

The idea has always been pretty simple, a small room, brilliant DJs, longer sets and the kind of progressive, melodic and deep electronic music we love, given the time and space to take you somewhere.

Joining us on the night…

Headliner
Lloyd Barwood - @lloydbarwoodmusic

Support Artists
Robert Glenn - @robertglenndj
Will Fox - @will_fox_dj
Collsie - @collsiemusic

We’d genuinely love to have you there at @mssngpieces.bar Nottingham, this Saturday 29th August, from 7pm for the beginning of Obsidian.

There are still tickets available. Come and be part of 001.

🎟️ Tickets via the link in bio.

Built for the music. Built for the journey.
