Not everyone understands why we chose this way of life, and that’s okay. Over 5 years ago we came across this land. We pulled over and walked around and in the center of this property I stopped because I felt a feeling, well more of calling and l knew it was the Holy Spirit. I looked at Billy and told him this was going to be out home. After prayer....lots of prayer we sold our paid for home and took out a loan and started this little farm. I can’t count the times people called us crazy. The amount of time we have spent at the feet of Jesus asking what to do or how to afford the next step is countless. We have cried, rejoiced, doubted, laughed and almost quit, but each time we get to a hurdle that seems impossible God always provides a way. We have learned so much and made many mistakes.BUT today after two days of
absolutely exhausting work with very special friends (Braden and Katy), we filled our freezer with food for our family. You know, it is hard to explain the blessing of raising your own meat. It comes with a responsibility to respect these animals and care for them well. So as this day ends and our house is a mess, and every part of our bodies are sore, our hearts are overwhelmed will gratitude for God’s provision and goodness. “The godly care for their animals, but the wicked are always cruel.”

As summer is coming to an end and we are sooooo looking forward to cooler weather my heart is so grateful to look at how far our little farm has come. What is not pictured is all the literal blood sweat and tears. This life is not for the weak But once again I think God for every struggle that brings us to His feet.
Our prayer is that our little farm glorify Him, that His beauty, love and abundance be made known through this life he has given us. That others see Him in the fruits of our labor.
“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” James 1:17 NLT#morrisfamilyfarm #farmlife #horseofinstagram #cowgirl #countryliving

Just a morning walk through the garden after a pretty busy work week. God and his peace meet me here so often. It amazes me how just a few moments alone with Him can reset my whole mood and focus.

You have given me the best things I could ask for. Thank you for every single memory and friendship that I have made. These friendships will never fade and will last a lifetime. You have pushed me to become the best I could be and opened doors I would have never even gotten close to without you. You have put people in my life I will never let go of and never forget. You have taught me lessons I will take with me forever. You have made me understand how 8 years can feel like nothing. You have been through the worst and best of my life. You have watched me create some of the most meaningful decisions of my life and helped me create those. And although I write this as im writing to the gym. Im writing to the people of this gym. Every single person I have crossed paths with. Every single coach that has got me to the place where I am. All star has built more than just a team for me but also many friendships that came from being teammates. I will forever love my teammates. I could not wish for better ones. The relationships I have built with them over the past few years on the team makes me so thankful for everyone. These teammates became more like family to me by the end of this. I could not ask for a better coach, who has helped me progress so much and taught me everything I know and always believed in me. Everyone in this gym has shaped me into the person I am today. This gym is nothing without all these amazing people that I have met. This will forever be part of me. I came here to flip and do parkour and now I’m leaving with a family.
