Took us a whole year to edit this 7-minute piece, but hey, perfection takes time (and a lot of coffee).

The full performance of “Unexpected Bridges” by Timothy Walters is FINALLY live on YouTube.

Video recording and editing was done by Timothy Walters himself, who we were able to fund directly through the Brampton Arts Organization (BAO) Professional Development Fund.

Ok, fair enough.

The same Reel with different words wasn’t fooling anyone anymore.

So here’s something real:
"Fabricated Worlds" was built with over two dozen incredible collaborators, and every one of them helped turn these songs into something far bigger than what started in my head.

This album exists because of all of us.

And somehow it all begins with “Unsurvivable” on May 1.

What are you, crazy?!

@kevinsmeltzer continues with his album and a desire for different types of instruments, this time looping in a talented young oboist William Kwiatkowski (@will_plays_oboe) for a session! 🎼🌸

Thank you, Thunder Bay!

A huge thank you to everyone who attended A Portrait of Northwestern Ontario, the very first Composers Canvas concert.

We’re so grateful to @magnustheatre for hosting us in such a beautiful venue, and to @cmcnational for backing this vision from the very beginning.

To our audience, thank you for attending, listening, and supporting contemporary sound art in Thunder Bay. With 85 people in attendance, this debut concert was a huge success and a sign that there’s a real hunger for new music in this community.

We’re also deeply thankful to the incredible musicians and composers who brought this program to life. This wouldn’t have been possible without their amazing pieces.

We’re just getting started!!
