NYC, you were one for the books! 🍎🗽🚕 A girls’ weekend seeing one of our favorites, Reece, in Chicago, making questionable decisions (some stories are better left in New York 😂), and memories I’ll treasure forever! The older I get, the more I realize just how precious these moments are. I don’t take a single one for granted. 🥹 She’ll forever be my little girl, but somewhere along the way, she became one of my very best friends. And that might just be my favorite part of motherhood. 🖤

Reece Rocks Chicago!! We are so proud of @reece_christinee and we’re so proud to be in NYC to support her!! Reece is one of Sara Laine’s closest friends and they share so many similar qualities; she feels like a part of the family. She was truly incredible and I don’t think I ever took my eyes off of her on stage. We waited with @willallman18 until Reece had made it through the crowd lovingly and patiently greeting her fans. Being beside Will, many thought we were her parents, and wanted us to know how much they loved her!! Keep shining your light for Him @reece_christinee @willallman18 !! We love you both❤️

SURPRISE… I SAW CHICAGO ON BROADWAY!!! 😭🗽❤️✨

I was completely surprised that I got to see Chicago while we were in NYC, but this wasn’t just any night… @reece_christinee was playing Roxie Hart!!! 🥹

I’ve been a HUGE fan of Reece since her Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader days, so when we found out she was going to be performing as Roxie while we were in New York, my family knew we HAD to make it happen! 🥰

But here’s the part that made this night even more special… ❤️

A couple years ago, we were at the Dallas Cowboys’ first home practice of the season and happened to meet @willallman18 , Reece’s husband, because his seat was right next to ours! I told him how much I loved Reece and how I wished I could meet her someday. 🥹

Obviously, actually meeting her would’ve been pretty hard to make happen, but Will was so incredibly kind and told Reece about our conversation. Then, he sent us a VIDEO of Reece saying hi to me!!! 😭❤️

That video has always been so incredibly special to me.

So when I found out Reece was going to be performing that night, I knew exactly what I wanted to do: MEET HER, show her that video, and finally tell her, “I’m so glad we are FINALLY getting to meet each other!” 🥹

And the best part?!?

SHE REMEMBERED ME. 😭😭😭

Reece was the absolute sweetest human and made this moment SO incredibly special. Getting to watch her shine on a Broadway stage as Roxie was already a dream… but getting to finally meet her and have her remember our story made it one of those moments I’ll never forget. ❤️✨

From a little video saying “Hi Emerson” to finally meeting in New York City… talk about a full-circle moment. 🥹🗽🎭❤️

Still pinching myself that this actually happened!!! 🥰
