The Shoreham Cycle Track Barrier Murals are really taking shape now! We will have them all ready to be installed for early July on Shoreham Drive in Toronto. To visually unite the work of 44 artists we have four themed zones - each with its own colour palette. This project has brought together muralist from novice to veteran, working in a variety of styles from illustrative, painterly to graffiti based using latex paint and aerosols. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to meet many new (to me) artists and also reconnecting with lots of artist friends who I have known for years. I hope that the sense of community that this project brings to the artists will also be shared with the neighbourhood that it will soon find a permanent home within ❤️ @cityofto @start_streetartoronto @cycletoronto @yorkuniversity 🎨❤️🚴🏽‍♂️🚴🏼🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏾‍♂️🚴🏻🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏿‍♂️🚴🏼🚴🏾🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻#hereisshoreham #cycletracmurals_shoreham #cityofToronto #streetarttoronto #StART #cycletrack #murals #publicart #shorehamdrive #yorkuniversity #graffiti #graffitiart #handlettering #illustration #muralist #thesix
