So we have done the protesting..... Now we need to start listening. Every 3 weeks there will be a different subject

1. Medical System
2. Education
3. Music, Media & Entertainment
4. Culture
5. Judicial System
6. Working Enviroment
7. Academia
8. Religion

Please refer to picture in this post for dates and times of where we will be heading.

If you want to speak, please get in touch but must be related to the specific topics.

When we meet up at the park please bring a blanket, something to keep you nice and warm, just in case its a bit chilly. If its raining, we will try to get an in door venue. Social distancing measures will still be put in place.

Bring your own food/snacks (ideally no alcohol)

The 1st topic of discussion will be:

The Medical System: We want people to come and tell us their stories of being black and dealing with anything to do with the medical system. For example: A black woman is more likely to die during child birth.... Do you want to share how the mental health sector has helped/not helped.

Everyone is welcome but don't come if you are easily offended. There could be children present.

Although it states over 18's, if you have baby in arms or toddlers please feel free to attend. If you have under 18 please bring your parent/carer/guardian to say its ok.

There will be things that arent suitable for children to hear, but it's your decision 100%

Other places we will be taking this is

Saturday 11th July 2020 from 1pm Greenhead Park

- Saturday Sheffield 18th July 2020 from 1pm onwards Norkfolk Heritage Park

- Saturday Leeds 25th July 2020 from 1pm at Hyde Park.

- Sunday Wakefield 26th 2020 from 1pm Thornes Park

Thank you for all of your support. Lets educate one another and be listened to.

I am a BLACK MAN!
🖤
I build .... I don't tear down other BLACK MEN! 🖤
I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others up!
🖤
All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 💫
🖤
Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended.
🖤
Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down. ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏽
