Out of everything those freedoms allow, they chose hate. De Waterkant’s rainbow crossing was vandalised twice in a matter of days. Someone came back with a tin of paint, wrote “Perversion, Romans 1:24–27” across it, and called that an act of faith. They chose Romans 1. They stopped reading before Romans 2, where Paul turns on the reader who enjoyed the list: you have no excuse, you who pass judgment, because you do the same things. The verse on that road condemns the hand that painted it. We are not coming for your children. But if one of your children is queer, and your doctrine has frightened them into believing that death is preferable to honesty, they can come to us. New piece by Willem Jacobs. These started as a roll of Bull Denim and a head full of ideas. Hours of pattern making, cutting, stitching, unpicking, adjusting, stitching again… until they felt right. Deep blue purple Bull Denim. Pink stitching. Size 30. One pair. One story. Made by hand in Cape Town. #WillemWillem #GoodDenim #HandmadeJeans #BullDenim #MadeInCapeTown

Rare Ritual started with a simple idea: skincare should feel less like a checklist and more like a ritual. From strategy and brand positioning to identity design, packaging, photography direction, website design and the Ritual Finder experience, we helped shape every touchpoint of the brand into a single, cohesive story. The challenge wasn’t creating another skincare brand. It was creating a reason to care. A brand with depth, intention and a point of view. The result is Rare Ritual. A premium skincare brand built around personalised rituals, thoughtful design and a slower, more meaningful approach to self-care. A reminder that good branding isn’t just what people see. It’s what they feel. #BrandDesign #PackagingDesign #WebsiteDesign #BrandStrategy #SkincareBrand

The 3AM Utility Trench. Started cutting at 3 in the morning because I could not sleep and could not stop thinking about it. By sunrise there was a trench coat hanging in the studio. Raw denim, oversized pockets, exposed contrast stitching, and absolutely no business existing this early in the morning. #winter #trench
