Had the opportunity to work with one of my remote pitching clients in person today, a talented sophomore pitcher from @bishophendricken in Rhode Island who is getting ready for a big stretch of baseball.

He’ll be heading to Fort Myers, Florida this weekend for the @perfectgameusa Underclassmen World Championship, followed by another tournament with FTB Baseball the following weekend.

With the opportunity to finally work together in person, we focused on an important part of his pre-pitch routine: trusting his breath.

- Deep inhale through the nose ➡️ controlled exhale through the mouth
- Staying connected to the target
- Creating a consistent rhythm before the pitch
- Using the breath to help create a better flow state
- Resetting and being ready for the next pitch

The goal isn’t to overthink breathing when you’re competing. It’s about building the routine in practice so you can trust it when the moment gets bigger.

Excited to see him take this into competition over the next couple of weeks. #MentalPerformance #breathing #perfectgamebaseball #floridabaseball #pitching
