A backstage photo from Monday... The magic of the evening's performance is still with me!

It was a real highlight to get to work with such a phenomenal cast and creative team these past few weeks, and I'm so happy with how we brought "How Do You Milk an Almond?" to life on stage.

The whole line-up of shows was so inspiring! Honored to have been part of SOUND BITES XII Annual Festival of 10-Minute Musicals, and to have my work featured at Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center.

Often in rehearsals, I was laughing so hard I could barely catch my breath… It was incredible to be part of how the actors poignantly developed these characters in this playful and bewildering story. I'm grateful for their commitment to the material, and their amazing craft!

Our creative team brought such significant contributions and perspectives to the material, from the intrepid and hilarious choreography, to the spot-on costume design, to the musical leadership in rehearsals and performance. A huge thank you for the creativity, passion, and expertise you brought to show:

Still feeling the joy of last night, participating in my third Sound Bites festival of 10-minute musicals for Theatre Now (@theatrenowny )! 🤩

The chance to work on, perform, and see new and innovative musical theatre — alongside some phenomenal actors — is such a gift. I am immensely grateful to Tom Morrissey (@tomorr2000 ), Erik Schark (@erikschark ), Jo Calhoun (@jo_calhoun_ ), and the whole team for including me in this process and running such a wonderful program.

Also a huge shoutout to the “How Do You Milk an Almond?” fam: Kevin Sherwin (@kevinsherwinmusic ), Curtis Howard (@curtishoward3 ), Bex Jones (@bexjonesss ), and Sawyer Dahlen and my fellow actors Margo Hera (@margohera ), Emma Origenes (@emma_t_o ), Cameron Reese (@cameroonreese ), and
Will Vosseler (@williamcorrect ). We milked that thing for all it was worth! 🥛🎶

I am BEYOND grateful for this kindness and love, thank you @williamcorrect 👻🔫 #ghostbusters #theaterkidsforlife
