Suuuuper stoked on the release of @circuitcircuitcircuit ‘s LP “Start Laughing”
This record is batshit crazy and was super fun and challenging to mix. There’s so many little details to pick up on and so many sick vocal moments from @laserrlife .
If you fuck with mathcore (or sasscore) give this record a spin it’s basically mandatory listening 🤌🏻
Shout out @soupyjake for absolutely killing his send off from the band by recording these drums. He hits like an absolute freight train and I only needed to use a few tom samples here and there, and a subtle blend of kick reinforcement throughout. That snare is alllll natural though 🥁
Also shoutout @petegrossmann for the crushing master!
Fuck yeah #mathcore !!!

Dying Out West is finally out on Bandcamp (physicals and streaming coming soon)

Thank you to all our friends and family who've supported us through everything, y'all were genuinely a big push toward us being able to see it through and put out this project.

Before we became a band, I'd been begging Jules for a while to start a band together and I'm so glad that we did. Every time I felt like I wasn't meant to keep making music, her timing would be so serendipitous, she'd call me up to work on something with her and pull me right out of my funk and for that I'll be forever grateful. Yesterday would have been her 25th birthday, so we wanted to put this together as her birthday present. We miss you so much Ruby, I hope you like it.
