I’ll take those odds 🥇

Final Crit race of 2026, and I finished it off with a win in the P1/2 Oklahoma State Championship Crit! Huge thanks to @_nico_martinelli and @erichkohlberg for setting me up for the win.

Now it’s time to transition into MTB and cyclocross before I can officially finish up the season!

🏆The Cherry On Top☝️

Overcoming many challenges in the final weeks leading up to State RR, the boys stepped up on race day with their best execution of the season and came away with the State Championship Title!

Nicholas, Mike, and Bryce raced beautifully, ultimately enabling Cole to seal the deal in the Cat 3’s 🎯 topping off a very successful season for our Cat 3 squad.

Also, in his first road race, new team member Jackson Mackintosh navigated his way to a bronze medal in the cat 5 race!

Shoutout to Vedant for representing in the Cat 4 race!

The spark has officially become a flame. 🔥🦁

Wrapped up my race season with the Swiss Epic, a race season that started last September when I received the “All Clear” from my electrophysiologist. This season I had 22 race days, 15 of which were in South Africa, 5 in Switzerland, and only 2 here in the U.S. I spent almost 760 hrs on the bike, ride almost 13,000 miles and burned over 650,000 calories (I’m hungry all the time 😜). I am looking forward to racing in 2027, but for now it’s time to concentrate on rebuilding and laying down the foundation for next year. Any suggestions on where I should go racing next year? Thank you to all the friends & family that joined me this season, and thank you all for your love and support. #cycling #racing #cyclist #season #thanksmom

The 5th and final stage of the @swiss_epic was no parade lap. With 2350 meters of climbing over 65 km, it was a proper alpine stage to wrap up the event. Andres and I stuck to what we had been doing all week, to finish 12th on the stage and 12 on GC in the Grand Master’s Category… Thank you Andres for an epic week of racing in the Alps! Thank you all for your love and support, and congratulations to all that “Conquered the Alps” this week, especially my friends from South Florida @alex_pinero @aczal1 @santiago_coll & @migs_mtb ! Till next year Switzerland! #swissepic #switzerland #mountainbike #conquerthealps #thanksmom 📸 @sportograf

Stage 4 of the @swiss_epic took Andres and I to the trails above Davos, the highest city in Europe. We went uphill from the gun, climbing 1000 meters in the first 7 kilometers of racing. The climbing continued throughout the stage, and the single track descent varied from natural to north shore trails… it was a beautiful day in the Alps. #swissepic #switzerland #davos #mountainbike thanksmom 📸 @sportogra

Stage 3 of the @swiss_epic was modified, as the organizers felt is was unsafe to send the riders up and over Scalettapass due to the cloud cover and possible snow. Rather than racing from La Punt to Davos, the stage started and finished in La Punt, covering 61km with 1650 meters of climbing. It was not an easy day by any stretch of the imagination, as the climbs kept punching, and the wet rocks and roots tried to derail our lines through the woods; nothing @barreroandres and I were not prepared to handle. The cold wet nature of the day was another story, which gave us a little push to get across the finish line before turning into popsicles. We were rewarded for our effort with warm showers, food, good coffee and a beautiful bus ride to Davos… it was a good day! #swissepic #switzerland #mountainbike #singletrack #thanksmom 📸 @sportograf

Stage 2 of the @swiss_epic “The Time Trial” required a course change due to inclement weather. The organizers did a great job of getting all of the pertinent information out to us throughout the previous day; I imagine it was a logistical nightmare. The revised 24 km course with 440 meters of climbing was fast, with one technical descent in the woods, loaded with slick rocks and roots. We were sent out in 10 second increments to what resulted in a 1hr & 5 min effort. @barreroandres and I really played to our strength, pacing ourselves uphill, pushing the pace on the flats, and letting our bikes rip on the downhills. Good times were had… #swissepic #switzerland #timetrial #mountainbike #thanksmom 📸 @sportograf

Stage 1 of the @swiss_epic was a proper introduction to racing in the Alps. With 2650 meters (8695 ft) of climbing over 83 km (51.5 miles), the course either pointed up or down hill, with little to no room for flat sections. @barreroandres and I managed our efforts uphill well, as the air got thin towards the stage’s highest point at 2545 m (8350 ft) above sea level. Every climb rewarded us with what I can only describe as EPIC single track descents. I’m sure they could see me smiling from the race village below. 😊 It truly was a beautiful day… Thank you for the love and support! #swissepic #mountainbike #switzerland #epic #thanksmom 📸 @sportograf

Some single track from the @swiss_epic test route. No music, just the sounds of the terrain … and my brakes. #swissepic #switzerland #singletrack #bike #thanksmom 🎥 @oakleymeta

Took a few minute break from watching Le Tour to make sure I was ready for the last 100k of the stage.
