Cute kitchenette with a butcherblock top at our 42nd Ave project. When we moved the primary kitchen to the main floor, our clients still wanted a setup for drinks in their upstairs family room. Swipe for the previous kitchenette.

The primary bath at our Outer Sunset project: walnut, marble, polished nickel, and my favorite caramel brown Heath tile on the floor.

We’re here to bring back the 90’s kitchen desk. We designed this one in white oak to coordinate with the island, integrate useful storage, and provide a space for working while still being part of the mix.

From elevations and moodboards to construction site visits, so much thought and detail goes into the process. Here’s a look at the progression of the dining area of this Outer Sunset kitchen. We’ve never met a banquette we didn’t like, but this one is really special.

An unexpected favorite room in the project: the powder bath. It’s a dark space with no windows, so we leaned into the moodiness with a brown limewash paint that adds so much depth and warmth.

A custom travertine floating sink and a sculptural 1970’s Italian wood mirror complete the space.

Welcome to our latest project, an Outer Sunset home originally built in the 1940’s, just a few blocks from our studio.

We touched every part of the house in the renovation, but the focus was really the kitchen. It was previously a small room upstairs with one window looking onto a stairwell. We moved it down to the main level (a rarity in the Sunset) and added fully opening glass doors to the backyard and a 15’ island for our sweet clients to cook and entertain. Thank you @cahomeanddesign @thelindseyshook for the feature. Link to the full story in bio.

The main living area of our San Mateo Eichler project. Everything is built around and opens up to the surrounding landscape. Feels right to share it in horizontal format.

It’s the year 2004. I’m in California sippin on a slurpy. Jammin to music on my Walkman. My older sisters got me hooked on MTV. Might go outside and run through the sprinkler, climb a tree.
